Every Word From Garnacho After Signing For Chelsea

Alejandro Garnacho has completed his move from Manchester United to Chelsea during Chelsea's 2-0 win against Fulham at Stamford Bridge. The 21-year-old prodigy, known for his explosive pace and flair on the wing, was officially unveiled at Stamford Bridge, where he expressed his enthusiasm for the new chapter in his career.

Aligning with Chelsea's Winning Culture

Garnacho's arrival comes on the heels of Chelsea's recent victory in the FIFA Club World Cup, a triumph that has solidified the Blues' status as global powerhouses. Speaking to reporters during his introductory press conference, the young star highlighted how the club's winning culture aligns perfectly with his own ambitions.

"I have a winning mentality. I have passion and a big personality. It's a natural fit with a club like Chelsea, which have just won the Club World Cup," Garnacho said, beaming with excitement.

The transfer fee, rumoured to be in the region of £40 million, underscores Chelsea's intent to build a squad capable of dominating both domestically and internationally. Garnacho, who burst onto the scene at Old Trafford as a teenager, now joins a star-studded lineup featuring the likes of Enzo Fernåndez and Moisés Caicedo, aiming to add his South American flair to the mix.

Reflecting on Chelsea's recent success, Garnacho emphasized the importance of maintaining that momentum and honouring the passionate fanbase. "Chelsea are at the top now, and it's important to fight for the club like the fans deserve. I watched the Club World Cup, and to join the world champions is special – it means we're the best team in the world!" he added, drawing applause from the assembled media.

Experience Beyond His Years

Despite his tender age, Garnacho brings a wealth of experience to west London. Having featured in over 100 matches for Manchester United, including high-stakes Champions League encounters and domestic cup finals, he believes his background will help him hit the ground running.

"It's not common to have played many games at this age, but it has helped me a lot. I'm only 21 and I have a lot of experience from these different types of games, stadiums and moments," Garnacho noted, crediting his rapid development to the challenges he's faced early in his career.

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca, who has been vocal about refreshing the squad with young talent, praised Garnacho's versatility and work ethic. "Alejandro is a player who can change games in an instant. His energy and skill will be vital as we chase trophies on all fronts this season," Maresca said.
